It is a temporary hold placed on a set amount to protect against any incidental costs that may arise during your rental period.
It ensures that minor unexpected costs such as traffic violations, tolls, or minor damage are covered without disrupting your experience, and it gives you full peace of mind knowing that as long as the vehicle is returned in the same condition it left, every dollar comes back to you.
Is My Security Deposit Fully Refundable?
Yes — absolutely and completely. Your security deposit is 100% refundable provided the vehicle is returned on time, in the same condition it was in at pickup, with no outstanding incidentals, violations, or damage.
Once your rental period ends and the vehicle has been inspected, your deposit will be returned to you within 2 to 14 business days, depending on your payment method and financial institution processing times.
If there are any deductions required — for example, a toll charge or a traffic fine received during your rental — you will be notified in writing with a full breakdown of any amounts withheld before your remaining balance is returned.

What Happens If There Is Damage?
We conduct a thorough walk-around inspection with you at both pickup and drop-off. Any pre-existing damage is documented and photographed before you drive away so there is never any ambiguity about the vehicle’s condition at the start of your rental.
If damage is identified upon return that was not present at pickup, the cost of repair will be assessed and deducted from your security deposit. If repair costs exceed the deposit amount, your personal insurance policy (which you are required to carry) will be the next line of coverage.
We handle all damage situations with full transparency and professionalism. Our goal is never to withhold your deposit — it is simply to ensure our vehicles are protected so the next driver gets the same incredible experience you did.
